We’ve let the Tungsten Tipster back into the fold to guide you through this year’s McCoys Premier League Darts, he’s always good value for money, even if his bets aren’t! Seriously though, we expect big things from him so keep an eye on his weekly tips and see if we end the tournament in profit.

Darts Betting2013 McCoy’s Premier League Darts Week 1 & Outright Betting

The 2013 Premier League kicks off tomorrow and there is sure to be some fantastic games,  and with an increase from 8 to 10 players more value for money! My brief preview of the tournament and selections for tomorrows games and outright bets can be found below.

Phil Taylor has to be favourite the man is a darting genius and still looks hungry, can Michael Van Gerwen bring his form through from the second half of 2012? If so he will be the one to play Taylor in final.

Judging by his recent outings Adrian Lewis will be lucky to compete with most of these, and if it wasn’t for Phil carrying him throughout most of the tournament he would not be the 2013 World Cup of Darts Champion – LAY if you have the money.

Raymond Van Barneveld is a quality player and a crowd favourite; he will be at the business end of the Premier League if he brings his game from up to and including the World Championships

Simon Whitlock will cause more upsets than most and is always a danger, can he win? I don’t think so. Gary Anderson must be thinking how lucky he is to maintain his place given his recent record, but equally he is a previous winner.  For me though, he is too inconsistent to be in the mix at the end.

James wade showed that there was a glimmer of past glories last time out at the World Champs, but he will be up against it which makes him another lay for me.

Wes Newton must be pleased that another two players were added to the field, because he has definitely benefited. Wes is also an up and down player but could do some damage. Another newcomer Robert Thornton has had resurgence in form but has also shown that if you get on top of him he’s not up for the fight.

Andy Hamilton also must be surprised to be a part of the set up this year, but unlike some of the others he will always battle to the end and will not be a easy push over.
