Shaun Greatbatch cancer shock

Shaun Greatbatch has been diagnosed with cancer and is currently undergoing tests in hospital. No further details are available but we will bring an update when we can.
We wish Shaun all the best and hope for a return to full fitness soon.
UPDATE
Firstly, Shaun, Barbara, Sandra and all the family, would sincerely like to express thanks, to everyone who has sent messages, of best wishes, and support , through what has been a difficult two weeks.
Shaun, has been diagnosed with Myeloma, which is cancer in the bone marrow. He is now at home, and is expecting his chemotherapy treatment, to start this week.
This treatment is tablet form, and will be for a duration of about 8 months. After this phase is completed, he will be admitted to Addenbrookes Hospital, for a Stem Cell Transplant. Shaun will than be in hospital for about 4 weeks.
Once the full treatment is completed, the Myeloma should be in full remission.
