Hit The Bullseye To Win A Million

Posted on January 7th, 2009

YOU ARE JUST 15 THROWS FROM $1,000,000
“I think a pub player has a great chance of walking away with a million dollars”
Bobby George (darts legend and BBC commentator)
DARTS’ BIGGEST EVER PRIZE…
The record prize money at December and January’s Darts World Championships is about to
be dwarfed.
In July 2010, Bullseye Million will see thousands of darts players, pub players and pros alike,
descend on the NEC Birmingham, each with the chance to win $1,000,000 (£600,000) with
the throw of a dart.
The first knockout darts competition of its kind, Bullseye Million will bring players of all
abilities together to play off against each other in a simple throw for the bullseye. The winner
goes through to the next round, the loser goes out. And the last player standing scoops the
$1,000,000 jackpot, the biggest ever prize in darts.
In the opinion of darts legend Bobby George, it’s just as likely to be Phil the Barman as Phil
the Power. “One dart makes it a real good leveller. I’m not sure all the pros will make it to the
final rounds. There should be a good mix in the closing stages.”
Bullseye Million’s top prize is 6 times bigger than the BBC’s BDO £100K top prize and 3
times more than SKY’s PDC £200K top prize.
COMPETITION FORMAT
Open to men and women aged 18 and over, it’s 15 knock-out rounds of one-dart ‘nearest the
bullseye’ (pub players can be drawn against darts pros in round one). Prize money starts
after six winning throws and dramatically increases from 10.
Throw 10 winners receive $500
Throw 11 winners receive $1,000
Throw 12 winners receive $2,500
Throw 13 winners receive $5,000
Throw 14 winner receives $10,000
Throw 15 winner receives $1,000,000
