Kevin Painter completed a professional performance with a legs and set whitewash over Kim Huybrechts to set up a second round clash with Justin Pipe.

Vincent van der Voort survived a first round scare, after losing the first set to local favourite William O’Connor the Dutchman steadied the ship to take the game in a last leg decider.
