2012 PDC World Matchplay Draw & Seedings

The draw for the Betfair World Matchplay was made on Sunday evening following the conclusion of the European Darts Open in Dusseldorf. European Open winner van Barneveld will take on Michael Smith in Blackpool, whilst runner up Dave Chisnall faces Ronnie Baxter on home turf.
The complete first round draw can be seen below, with a couple of the matches that tickle our tungsten highlighted in red.

The 32-player event features the top 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit following the European Tour event, who are joined by 16 qualifiers from the ProTour Order of Merit. The 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit are seeded for the first round and drawn against the qualifiers.
