Scotty 2 Hotty Joins Winmau With Signature Darts to be Released

Winmau have today announced the signing of Scotty “2 Hotty” Waites. Scott is without doubt one of the best dart players in the world today, and already has two major titles to his name – the 2010 PDC Grand Slam of Darts and the 2011 BDO Winmau Word Masters.

The deal comes after a very successful decade of darts from Scott, with his growth into a high-profile player and an ever-present BBC and ESPN star at the Lakeside World Championships.

Scott is a proud Yorkshire and Englishman and has represented both country and county for over 10 years. Scott’s greatest achievement was winning the 2011 Winmau Wold Masters, a title he’d been desperate to win after competing in the event for many years (as its notoriously one of the hardest tournaments to win).

“This is very exciting for us,” said Simon Hall, Head of Marketing for Winmau. “Scott is rapidly becoming one of the most feared dart players on the circuit today. His grit and determination will no doubt take him to the top of the game with more major titles to follow. We are developing a range of Scott’s darts, which will be available throughout our global distribution channels over the coming months.”
