Bash The Bookies With The Tungsten Tipster’s Darts Betting Tips
Last night saw The Tungsten Tipster undo a lot of his good work achieved over the past week or so. With Painter being his ‘nap’ much of yesterday’s selection’s hinged on The Artist dumping out Lewis…
With Jackpot prevailing 4-2 & a couple of other picks falling just short of our predictions, we have now experienced the highs and lows of betting on darts.
But let’s not get too downbeat, we are still showing a +40ish point profit (my guestimate as the Tipster is too sick to work it out today!) and there is time for TTT to redeem himself with 4 days of play left…
World Championship Darts Betting Tips from The Tungsten Tipster
Friday 28 December 2012
PHIL TAYLOR V ANDY HAMILTON
Two of the most grittiest players on the circuit and neither will lie down until the last dart has been thrown. Many say Taylor is not playing well because he’s not hitting 100 plus averages, but you would be mad to to write him off.
Hamilton played a brilliant Terry Jenkins in the last round, but missed doubles by Jenkins let Hamilton enjoy a nice Xmas. To be fair to the Hammer his stats are slightly better than Taylor’s but in a close match you have to fancy a Taylor win.
HAMILTON MORE 180′S @ 4/6, WILLIAM HILL 20pts
UNDER 14.5 MATCH 180′s @ 5/6, WILLIAM HILL 15pts
HAMILTON OVER 116.50 CHECKOUT @ 5/6 Paddy Power 15pts
SIMON WHITLOCK V RAYMOND VAN BARNEVELD
After another cracking game against Chisnall ( only won in the deciding set) Whitlock showed he has the bottle to be the next World Champion with high finishing when it really mattered. He now comes against Barney who showed Anderson the way home by a convincing 4-0 margin.
Finishing has been a big part of Barney’s game this championship but Whitlock doesn’t miss much, so a close match is expected with both players battling for their semi-final place. There has been 13 previous meetings between these two guys with Whitlock leading 8-5, but I would not read too much into these stats.
Some of the above games included a very out of sorts van Barneveld in the Premier League fixtures; the Barney at the 2013 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship is a very different player. Whitlock won’t be offering the Dutchman as many chances at the doubles as Anderson was gifting him last night either.
SIMON WHITLOCK TO HAVE THE HIGHEST CHECKOUT @ 1/1, SKY BET 20pts
SIMON WHITLOCK UNDER 8.5 180′S @ 5/6, WILLIAM HILLS 15pts
OVER 30.5 LEGS 8/13 @ SKY BET 10pts
HAMILTON MOST 180′S & WHITLOCK HIGHEST CHECKOUT 25pts
