Phil Taylor and James Wade to Clash in World Matchplay Semi-Final

Phil Taylor remains on course to win a 14th BetVictor World Matchplay title following a superb 16-10 quarter-final win over Justin Pipe in Blackpool. Pipe put up a spirited fight but was unable to match a relentless Taylor in a high quality encounter.

“It was a very difficult game and Justin was superb, and he really pushed me,” said Taylor. “His concentration levels are fantastic, he’s a lovely man and I enjoyed the game.
