Bash The Bookies With The Tungsten Tipster in Association with AM Darts
The Tungsten Tipster was back on form last night a great set of tips were only really brought down by Alan Norris being edged out 4-3 by Wesley Harms after initially going 2-0 in front.
Darts Betting Tips Lakeside 2013 – Day 5
9 x180s, can’t count, bottle goes. I sat in disbelief at how someone who obviously has so much talent can throw a match away due to the basics of the game. The name? Alan ‘Chuck the Game Away’ Norris.
I’m not saying Wesley Harms didn’t play well, he showed character & bottle and knew how to count. If Norris had the same counting brain he would have easily won 4-1. Back to basics, Mr Norrris.
Well we ended up with 5 from 7 but missed the double due to Norris so we showed a slight profit on the night. Here’s tonight’s bets…
GARRY THOMPSON v JAN DEKKER. Very close this one but I’ll take the laid back Thompson to edge it. I fancy an early lead for Garry against Dekker, who stayed in there against Jeffery de Graf and got due rewards. Garry’s experience should see him home.
THOMPSON PLUS 1.5 HANDICAP @ 8/11 with Boyle Sports (4pts) and OVER 120.5 CHECK OUT @ 4/5 with Betfred (3pts)
PAUL JENNINGS V JASON CULLEN. If Paul plays like he did against Ross Montgomery I think he can do a job on the Irishman who I thought played well in round one but I can’t see him competing with a terrier like Jennings.
JENNINGS TO WIN @ 8/11 with Boyle Sports (4pts) and JENNINGS MOST 180S @ 1/1 with Ladbrokes (3pts)
SCOTT WAITES V GEERT DE VOS. This would seem a relatively easy tie for Scott who has not shown too much form of late and could have been 2-0 down to Willy van de Wiel if the Dutchman taken his doubles. De Vos played really well against Tony Eccles but for me Scott to win this.
UNDER 10.5 180S @ 5/6 with Ladbrokes (2pts) and DE VOS HIGHEST CHECK OUT @ 6/4 with William Hill (3pts)
JIMMY HENDRIKS V RICHIE GEORGE. A hard one to call this. The hype is on Richie being Bob’s boy and it cant help Richie in anyway. But in other ways it does help – getting wild cards to the Zuiderduin for example. So there are pros and cons and Richie really didnt play that well last match. Maybe the hype got to him but I expect him to be more settled and to play better this game. Hendriks showed a lot more in defeating 3 times world champion Martin Adams which, as I say, makes this a hard one to call. I’ll keep away from predicting the winner and go for:-
UNDER 125.5 CHECK OUT @ 5/6 with Ladbrokes (4pts)
TODAY’S DOUBLE – GARRY THOMPSON MINUS 1.5 HANDICAP @ 8/11 and PAUL JENNINGS TO WIN @ 8/11 with Boyle Sports (3pts)
