Bash The Bookies With The Tungsten Tipster’s Darts Betting Tips
We’ve had our say – check out our 2013 UK Open preview article here it’s got all the information you need and more!
And if you want to manage your own squad of Bolton hopefuls – look no further than our UK Open Beat The Tipster Competition. But hurry you need to pick your squad of ten players before the action starts at the Reebok Stadium tomorrow evening.
If you like a gamble you will also want to know what our resident Tungsten Tipster has up his sleeve for one of the most unpredictable tournament in the PDC darts calendar.
UK Open Darts Betting (Points 1-5, 5 points Max Bet)
At 15/8 outright van Gerwen has to be taken, he is by far the most consistent player on the circuit right now so 5pts is recommended as the tournament winner.
My outsider for the tournament is top BDO player Steve Bunting – who at 66/1 should be backed 1pt e/w.
I had a chat with Robbie Green at the weekend and he was very positive about his chances of doing a job on James wade, insisting that a win would be the only result if he turns up. 2pts Green win on the match betting here is my advice.
And for my other picks – here’s a few more match ideas for you:
- Connie Finnan 1/2 to beat Campbell Jackson - 4pts.
- Tony West 5/6 to beat up and coming youth player Jamie Lewis - 3pts.
- Adam Hunt is a star of the future and is my max bet for the first round, 4/6 for him to beat Paul Amos is massive - 5pts.
- James Hubbard must be taken on, his form is nothing at the moment and he is looking like a flash in the pan. John Scott could be the man to dump the former Youth World champ out of another 1st round at 7/4 – 2pts.
