This years BDO World Professional Championships (should it really be called that in this era of the game?) will be televised exclusively by the BBC. This is a U-Turn of sorts – the last few years have seen the coverage shared with ESPN.

Still, the results is there will be live darts every afternoon Monday – Thursday on a terrestrial channel between 1pm and 4.15pm complimented by a highlights programme every evening.

The Championship will be available on the RED Button with both the Ladies and Men’s finals being shown live, the tournament starts on Saturday 4th January 2014 at 1pm with 9-times Ladies World Champion Trina Gulliver MBE taking on Tamara Schuur from the Netherlands.

Scott Waites then makes his bid to win back-to-back Lakeside titles as he takes on Alan Norris, meanwhile the reigning Ladies World Professional Champion Anastasia Dobromyslova will take to the stage on Sunday Afternoon in her attempt to make it 3 titles in a row.
