Can Your Fantasy Darts Squad Beat The Tipster?
To take into account the group stage format, the Grand Slam Tipster rules are based on our Fantasy League Darts format.
You select a squad of 10 players and your team earn points based on their progress in the tournament. But be careful, you have a measly budget and the cheaper players earn more points than the dearer players.
For example, if Phil Taylor and Barrie Bates both reach the semi finals, Barrie will earn more points than Phil because he has exceeded expectations while Phil has not.
Therefore the key is to build a strong squad consisting of a mix of safe players and ‘value’ players who you consider will be punching above their weight on the Wolverhampton stage. You will find the Grand Slam draw at the foot of this page to assist you.
As the field is not quite finalised and the groups remain unknown, you may make unlimited transfers right until the action kicks off in Wolverhampton, and following the conclusion of Championship League Darts and the Youth Tour events, the player pool will be adjusted accordingly.
So go ahead and construct a squad now, but keep an eye out for these results and publication of the groups then login and make any required player changes. By subscribing to our darts news, you will receive all this information straight to your email inbox.
The DartsMad Tipster has picked his squad and challenges you to do better. At the end of the Grand Slam we will total up the scores and those who have Beat the Tipster will go into the prize draw.
And remember, this is a FREE TO ENTER competition, with some great prizes provided by Unicorn as listed below.
