2014 Betway Premier League Darts Betting Tips

We had a bad week last week and were chinned on both bets, but will be going all out to make up for lost ground this week as the fifth night of the Betway Premier League darts hits the Westpoint Arena in Exeter.

We begin with Adrian Lewis versus Michael van Gerwen. These two enjoyed possibly the rivalry of the year in 2013, meeting 12 times in and sharing the spoils. Overall the pair have toed the oche together 22 times with MvG winning thirteen of the battles.

Lewis has failed to capitalise on a decent start to the league winning just three legs in the last two weeks and has averaged around 90 in those games combined, the Stoke ace is as big as 11/10 to hit under a 98.50 average with Bwin.

Our second bet is more of a insurance bet to attempt to top the fund up by taking on the alternative handicaps treble. We begin firstly with Thornton +4.5 legs. Robert has not failed in his attempt in the first four weeks to cover this bet and will be an equal match for Peter Wright in a game which could end as draw if both men turn up.

Our second selection goes with the ever reliable MVG +2.5 legs. Rarely does Gerwen endure a bad match and would have covered the handicap each week.

Our final selection is for Anderson to win at least three legs versus Phil Taylor. You may be thinking, hang on, Anderson would have failed his quest on two of the four matches, but in his defence the Scotsman was on hot form last week and hit the highest checkout and chucked a 106+ average.

Anderson has scoring power and on one performance from Phil we cannot take him on to cover a handicap. Anderson is more than capable of winning three or more legs.
