We bounced back last week building the bank back up to 38.5 units from a starting bank of 50 and with ante post bets pending.

Last week threatened to be a week of draws, conceivably we should have seen four, but could have had five. Had Taylor not fluffed hitting the double we would have had four draws.

Darts Betting TipsThornton was unlucky in game five not to secure a draw, which on a five fold would have offered 3700/1!

For five draws this week, 888sport have odds of 5823.13/1 of five 6-6 draws. Surely worth a quid if you fancy the longshot. I would not put people off perhaps perming doubles or trebles here for a fun bet! Sponsors Betway and BetVictor go 1/2 for any draw from the five games, with 6/4 for no draw.
We saw all sixty legs played last week and in a partial feature in previous bulletins, the odds are thus:
  • Under 51 – 7/4
  • 51-54 – 6/4
  • 55 or more 9/4
These odds have not shifted from previous weeks so punters might want to take a look at this!
Premier League Week 6 Fixtures:
  • Whitlock v Wright (3-0-3)
  • Lewis v Anderson (12-3-8)

Lewis v Anderson (12-3-8)
Congratulations to Jackpot on winning the UK open in style. Can he bring his form to Nottingham this week? Lewis is a solid evens shot to beat Anderson (21/10) and 9/2 the draw.
The pair last met in the Premier League last year which resulted in a 6-6 draw. Lewis has remained unbeaten in the last three meetings and showed excellent character to draw with MVG last week, from a losing position effectively.
We are not the biggest fans of relying on Lewis, but are willing to give him another chance at evens to hold throw and outscore Anderson.

MVG v Newton (15-0-7)
The head to head speaks for itself with van Gerwen winning 12 of the last 13 meetings spanning back to 2012! Newton was sick last week and was forced to miss the UK Open, which begs the question has done much practice whilst being struck down with tonsilitus?
We do not know but the handicaps suggest that just even money must mean that MvG does not concede more than three legs.
MvG has averaged 100.95, hit 17 180’s with a 121 checkout. Wes has averaged 91.85, hit 13 maximums and a 149 checkout. Our bet must be on Newton under 94.5 average as bookies seem to have priced this wrong. We expected 93.50 like Paddy Power, but Bwin and Betway both offer 17/20 on under 94.50 and this must be snapped up
  • Lewis – 1/1 Hills – 5 pts
  • Newton – Under 94.50 average 17/20 Betway – 5 pts

Starting bank – 50 pts

LESS: Ante post – 6 pts

LESS: Cumulative profit/(loss) (5.5 pts)

Current balance – 28.5 pts (including this weeks bets)
