Chisnall Vs Whitlock (13-0-5)

Whitlock was outclassed playing Wright. Whitlock needed the win and it never came as Wright chucked a 100.72 average including a 132 checkout. Chisnall looked scrappy last week despite smashing 7 180’s in but only averaging 92.43 in a passable effort vs Taylor.

Whitlock comes into this at 13/8, with Chisnall at 5/4 and the draw around 9/2. Whitlock must win at least two of the next three games before we discover the bottom two. Ideally Whitlock needs maximum scores with Newton and MVG still to play. Two of the three are winnable but ideally five points should be enough to contend for safety.

Chisnall himself has Lewis and Newton to play and has not won since the opening night. Whitlock has the lowest average in the tourney with 92.33 with Chisnall up at 95.89. Chisnall comes in at 3/5 with Sponsors Betway for highest average with 6/5 on Whitlock.

The 3 dart average line comes in at 94.50 for Whitlock, with 4/6 weeks seeing Whitlock fall below 94.50 average, with Paddy Power going 5/6 on either higher or lower.

Chisnall has hit a 92 average in the last two weeks, with Bwin going 11/13 on a 96.50 average. This is great considering 4/6 games have headed below 96.50!

Looking briefly at the checkout market for the night, there is a shade of value in Bwin offering 42/41 on less than a 151 average. This bet would have won in five of the six weeks in the Premier League and could not back yes at 7/10 at the same firm!

  • Chisnall – Under 96.50 average – 11/13 Bwin (5 pts)
  • Under 150.50 checkout – 42/41 Bwin (5pts)

Starting bank – 50 pts

LESS: Ante post – 6 pts

LESS: Cumulative profit/(loss) (5.5 pts)

Current balance – 28.5 pts (including this weeks bets)
