GARY ANDERSON 6-3 JAMES WADE
GARY ANDERSON is the first man into the semi-finals of the Topic International Darts League following a 6-3 win over James Wade.
The Scotsman produced an incredible display to see off Wade, finishing with an end average of almost 108 but sitting on a 114 average when he took a 4-1 lead.

International Darts League 07 Preview

They are playing for a total prize pool of 161,000 euros with the winner walking off with 30,000 of them and anybody hitting a 9-dart leg driving off in an Opel Tigra. But these players are also focused on something beyond that – the chance of pitting their skills against their cross code rivals. It isn’t often that we see competition between the two codes but in recent times this tournament along with the World Darts Trophy have helped bring the two together and deliver what every darts fan around the world wants to see.

Both poker and darts are highly popular pursuits. The games are available online, in fact, that there are organizations dedicated to making sure the rules of video poker and online darts are conformed. Similar to darts having the World Darts Federation, among others, and poker has the Tournament Directors Association. These rules are put into place in highly competitive tournaments, in which as many as hundreds or even thousands of people compete for cash prizes as well as prestige.
