Winmau are the Official Dartboards of the Turkish Open and Europe Cup 2012

Winmau have joined forces with the Turkish Darts Organisation, the Anatolians Group and the World Darts Federation to provide their class-leading Blade 4 dartboards to the Turkish Open and Europe Cup.

Both events will receive huge coverage via the local media, as darts continues to boom in Turkey. The Turkish Open in Association with Winmau is one of the most popular tournaments on the circuit for overseas players. In fact, last year over 60 players entered from outside of Turkey, including Winmau’s Darryl Fitton and Martin Adams.

The WDF Europe Cup carries huge prestige in the darting world, as players from all over the continent battle it out to try and claim the title of Europe’s greatest darts nation!

Winmau’s Sales and Marketing Director, Ian Flack, said “We are taken aback by the growth in Turkish darts and the professionalism that is being shown in using the mass media to promote these major events. We have no doubt that the huge successes of last year will be repeated again to an even greater extent in 2012”.

The Turkish Open takes place from 21st to 28th October and the Europe Cup follows immediately afterwards from 31st October to 3rd November. Both take place in Kemer, Antalya.
