Darts BettingOh dear, the Tungsten Tipster’s reputation has taken a battering again, surely today is the day he redeems himself…

Darts Betting Tips Lakeside 2013 – Day 4

It was a fairly disastrous night at the Lakeside last night. There are no pushovers these days and the standard is getting closer all the time. No player appears to stand above the rest and the competition looks very open.

It was suggested that if Ross Montgomery could hit his doubles he would win but his finishing at crucial times let him down badly.

In the Scott Waites game the top out shot was 40 and Waites could quite easily have been 2-0 down.

Tony Eccles v Geert de Vos was an exceptional game with de Vos showing immense bottle to match a great Eccles performance.

Back to business, we are minus 12.71 to a £2 stake giving a total loss of £25.42. But all is not lost!

After studying tonight’s matches I fully expect to turn things round! The first game starts at 5.15 and is not televised, but I will be there to soak up the atmosphere at the home of darts.

SCOTT MITCHELL v ROBBIE GREEN is a match I cant see going any other way than a win for the big Liverpudlian. Green comfortably dumped out reigning champion Christian Kist and he looks up for it. He is practising hard, which is something he doesn’t do well, and Mitchell was slightly unconvincing in his first round encounter.

I’m going – UNDER 7.5 180s @ 4/5 with Paddy Power (3pts) and UNDER 125.5 CHECK OUT @ 5/6 with Ladbrokes (4pts).

WESLEY HARMS v ALAN NORRIS – I still believe Norris will have a say in the destination of the title and although not at his best last time out I still fancy him to beat Harms. Harms defeated the joker of the pack, Rune David, 3-1 in the first round and is a class act. He will be around for a few years to come but I’m taking Norris to edge this one.

NORRIS TO WIN @ 11/10 with William Hill (5pts – max) and OVER  9.5 180s @ 3/4 with Boyle Sports (3pts).

DARRYL FITTON v STEVE BUNTING – Fitton looks to be coming back into good nick and tackles the favourite, Bunting, a man in a rich vein of form. Bunting showed plenty of bottle in round one coming from 2-1 down against Jamie Wilson to snatch it 3-2, while Fitton also displayed guts in his win against Benito van de Pas. It should be a close match but I’m going for Bunting to edge home.

OVER 122.5 CHECK OUT @ 4/6 with Boyle Sport (3pts) and BUNTING MORE 180s @ 5/6 with Paddy Power (3pts).

TONY O’SHEA V STEVE DOUGLAS – this is also going to be a max bet as there can only be one winner in my opinion – Tony O’Shea. On top form O’Shea is different class to Douglas at the moment. Douglas has nothing to lose and will be out to enjoy the night but I can’t see him being full on after his recent heart attack and this should be a game too far. It’s O’Shea all the way for me.

OSHEA MINUS 2.5 HANDICAP @ 5/6 with Boyle Sports (5pts – max)

I’m also tipping a handsome double today – NORRIS to win @ 11/10 and O’SHEA minus 2.5 handicap @ 10/11 with William Hill (3pts).

Fingers crossed!
