2014 Betway Premier League Darts Betting TipsIt’s already week 3 of the Betway Premier League and our best bet of the week actually turns away from specific matches. But before we reveal our bet, we will list some stats compiled from the first two weeks.

  • Highest three dart average combined from week 1 and 2 – Michael van Gerwen  102.71
  • Highest average week two – Adrian Lewis 100.57
  • Most 180’s combined – Dave Chisnall and Adrian Lewis (8)
  • Highest checkout – Wes Newton 149 (Week 2)
  • Total 180’s combined  - 53

Can Phil Taylor enter his account? Although he remains on no points, perhaps we were over-reacting on taking Phil on after the 7-0 whitewash.Had we got the same bet on next weeks opponent anyone would have taken Phil on, but Peter Wright, we know in reality our draw no bet on Taylor carries no value whatsoever at best 2/5.

Had Snakebite played a less scrappy match against Chisnall on Thursday, it would have been tempting to considering taking him on. A loss over the weekend for Wright, where we backed Burnett as a value bet was a great call. Wright was a little careless last week and should have beaten Chisnall. One to watch on this occasion!

Elsewhere Ladbrokes have lengthened their prices on players not to be relegated offering Newton at 5/4 to survive week 9 and all others heavy odds on!

Our bet of the week goes with fewer than 32 180s combined in week 3! Twice the nightly 180’s totaled under the 30.5 mark priced by BetVictor. Before week one we hoovered up the 17/20 on fewer than 34.5 –  identifying a mistakenly priced bet. The particular firm did get it wrong and have since realigned this bet.

  • Under 31.5 180s – 3/4 Boylesports 5 points
  • Adrian Lewis over 98.50 average – 4/5 Betway 5 points

Starting bank – 50 pts

LESS: Ante post – 6 pts
PLUS Week one return – 5 pts
PLUS Week two return – (- 9 pts)

Current balance – 30 pts (including this weeks bets)
