March With A Spring In Your Step – March Newsletter

Welcome to our Spring Newsletter! Spring is upon us and there a few darters with a spring in their step at the moment.

Phil Taylor continued his hot streak with victory in both German Players Championship events at the end of February. He didn’t travel to Scotland the following week where Robert Thornton took full advantage to claim back to back home wins, his first since joining the PDC.

In the Whyte & Mackay Premier League, Mervyn King has blazed a trail over the opening few weeks, storming to the top of the league in an unbeaten start. A recent wobble has seen him toppled by James Wade at the head of the table and with several players coming into form it’s hotting up nicely.

And Aussie chucker Simon Whitlock has joined the ever growing ranks of the PDC. Whitlock is a fine player and will hope to emulate King and Thornton but the first battle he will have on his hands may well be over the use of his Wizard nickname! Colin Osborne v Simon Whitlock in a Nickname Playoff Match??

Eaze The Freeze – February Newsletter

Happy new year darts fans! A little late admittedly but then this is the first newsletter of 2009. If you’re not happy with that explanation then treat it as an early new year greeting for 2010.


So we’re here this month with some indispensible advice on how to ease the big freeze. It’s quite simple, just stay inside and watch darts!

We’ve just had the coral.co.uk Players Championship Finals at the Circus Tavern. Phil Taylor showed who’s boss again and you can read all about it elsewhere on the site. This followed hot on the heels of two great world championships. And kicking off this month is the Whyte & Mackay Premier League – weeks of Thursday night darts on the telly to help warm the cockles.

Darts Book

Both poker and darts are highly popular pursuits. The games are available online, in fact, that there are organizations dedicated to making sure the rules of video poker and online darts are conformed. Similar to darts having the World Darts Federation, among others, and poker has the Tournament Directors Association.
