Lakeside 2012 Did You Beat The Tipster?

Debutant Christian Kist defeated The Silverback to take the 2012 BDO World Championship back to Holland, but who won our 2012 Lakeside  Beat The Tipster competition, sponsored by Bulls and DartsCorner.co.uk?

Well, the randomly drawn winners are listed at the foot of this page, and will be contacted by email shortly. Thanks to all those that entered! Remember everyone who beats the Tipster goes into the draw for prizes. Yet again our regular Tipster failed to perform and has officially been handed his P45. Over 90 knowledgeable/lucky contestants got the upperhand on him this time.

Registration is still now open for our 2012 Fantasy League Darts Competition, where the prizes will be everyones favourite – cash. It’s based on entry numbers so sign up, then tell your mates/family etc to have a go.

Beat the Tipster – Free to Enter Prediction Competitions

It’s silly season in the darting calendar, with 4 major tournaments in the space of a few weeks.

We will be running our regular Beat The Tipster competition in association with  Bulls Darts and DartsCorner.co.uk, covering all these tournaments. In fact the Tipster has made his predictions for Lakeside, The Zuiderduin Masters and the PDC Players Championship already. So make haste over to the registration page to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

We have a mix of our usual, match score predictions and a chance for you to assemble a Fantasy League Darts squad for the Zuiderduin Masters.

Beat The Tipster GSoD Fantasy League Darts Results

The 2011 William Hill Grand Slam of Darts lived up to expectations, providing great entertainment and high quality arrers. Taylor, the eventual winner was imperious, his averages were awesome and surely he is a dead cert for Alley Pally?

Well out of a couple of hundred entries only 15 entrants managed to beat our resident Tipster, who saw a return to form after a couple of slack events recently.

Those 15 were all entered into the hat for prizes, the draw was made this evening and we are pleased to list the winners below: (Full Prize Breakdown can be found here)

Grand Slam News, Schedule & Betting Odds

WOLVERHAMPTON favourite Wayne Jones will open the William Hill Grand Slam of Darts on Saturday night when the £400,000 tournament kicks off at the Wolves Civic.

The 32-player tournament begins at 8pm on Saturday night with eight group matches from Groups A-D being held in front of a sell-out crowd. (Enter our Fantasy Tipster competition here to win great prizes from Bulls & DartsCorner.co.uk)

Jones, whose run to the semi-finals of last year’s Grand Slam of Darts saw the town unite in support of their local professional, will take on World Grand Prix runner-up Brendan Dolan in the tournament’s opening game.

William Hill Sponsor 2011 Grand Slam of Darts

Darts fans favourite  the Grand Slam kicks off in just over a couple of weeks time in Wolverhampton. The 2011 tournament will see a new sponsor, more details below and of course DartsMad will be running another Beat The Tipster competition in association with our own new sponsors Bulls Darts and Dartscorner.co.uk. The GSOD also provides plenty of point scoring opportunities in our Premier Fantasy League Darts competition.

WILLIAM HILL, Britain’s biggest bookmaker, have been confirmed as the title sponsor of the 2011 Grand Slam of Darts, which will be held at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall from November 12-20.

William Hill, who offer betting via mobile, online, telephone, and across their 2300 betting shops, will support the Sky Sports-televised nine-day extravaganza in Wolverhampton.

The William Hill Grand Slam of Darts will feature 32 players – including three-time winner Phil Taylor, reigning champion Scott Waites and World Champion Adrian Lewis – who initially compete in eight four-man groups before the top two in each proceed to the knockout last 16.
