World Championship Darts Betting Tips from The Tungsten Tipster

Monday 17 December 2012

Peter Wright v Arron Monk

Head to head these two are evenly matched with two victories a piece.

Although we haven’t seen much of Peter Wright on TV he has been making waves on the circuit and showed his current form at the Players Championship finals.  Arron has continued his domination of the PDC Youth Tour, finishing top & earning his place at the World Championships and a place at the Grand Slam where he qualified though a difficult group to make the knockout stages.

The winner of this game could come from either player so our first recommendation for this game is over 118.5 finish @ 5/6 with tournament sponsors Ladbrokes.  Our second recommendation for this game is Peter Wright to score more 180’s @4/5 with William Hill.

Mark Webster v Ian White

Webster needs to have a good run in this years tournament to help him defend the semi final money he won in 2011’s championship but Mr White is a man in form and Webster will be aware of this.

The 4/5 being offered by William Hill for White to win is our first recommendation for this match.   Again we have noticed the value on the highest checkouts with 118.5 being offered again in this match from Ladbrokes @ 5/6.  Most other firms are offering on over 122.5 for the highest checkouts.

James Wade v Peter Hudson

We are all aware of James Wade’s capability on the dartboard yet we are all aware of recent issues James has faced.  I know James has been practising well and is very much up for a comeback but which Mr Wade actually turns up on that stage tonight is anyone’s guess.

Hudson will be no walkover for James with Peter having already had two 6-5 victories over James in “floor tournaments” so he does know how to beat him.  Win lose or draw James is a renowned scorer and James to hit the most 180’s offered @5/6 with Ladbrokes, Corals & Bet 365 is good value and our recommendation for this game.

Our best two bets to be doubled up are:

Webster/White over 118.5 @5/6 & Wade most 180’s @5/6

We will track progress with a points system as follows; 10-30 points (10 being the lesser bet, up to a max bet of 30)

Monk v Wright – over 118.5 (15 pts) & Wright more 180’s also (15 pts)

Webster v White  - White win (15 pts) & over 118.5 (15pts)

Wade v Hudson – Wade most 180′ s (20 pts)

And the double – (20 pts)
