Bash The Bookies!

If you are a regular reader of the website you should, by now be aware of a new addition to the team – The Tungsten Tipster. The World Darts Championship games this week have been his proving ground.

Thursday night was the undoing of a largely successful previous 3 days, hence the pressure was well and truly on yesterday to find value bets from 6 No. second round matches…

Good news! With 7 from 9 singles and the treble all coming in, we have once again got the upper hand on the bookies, in fact we have bashed them. The total profit for the week stands at a very healthy +139 points!

World Championship Darts Betting Tips from The Tungsten Tipster

Saturday 22 December 2012

After turning  a 27 point deficit into a massive 139 point profit I’m treating myself to an evening of darts, so The Tungsten Tipster will be at the Ally Pally to cheer on his own tips!

Kevin Painter v Ronnie Baxter

First game on today, Painter being a big stage player gives him the edge in my mind over an out of sorts Baxter. Therefore our bets for this match are Painter to win @ 8/11 William Hill &  most 180s Painter @ 10/11.

 Mark Webster v Colin Lloyd

Based on the the 1st round matches you have to give Webster the edge, after probably his best performance of the year. Lloyd was in the better form coming into the World Championship but was very slow in finding his range, as opposed to Webster who was quick out the blocks so my bet is a Webster win @ 8/13 Betfred.

Raymond van Barneveld v Brendan Dolan

This is a match that Barney should win comfortably given his form at the moment, his first round performance was easily the best of the field. Although Dolan has had a decent year, if  Barney can replicate that form he should have no problems pushing Dolan to one side. The bet for this match is the handicap Barney – 2.5  @ 8/11 William Hill.

Wes Newton v Scott Rand

The first of the evening matches will see Newton and the super confidant Rand to the oche. This one will be a battle, if Rand produces the 1st round game that eliminated Huybrechts, Newton will have a game on his hands. The bets for this match are Rand  +1.5  @ 4/5 William Hill & Newton most 180′ s @ 4/6 also WH.

Whitlock v Osborne

With all due respect to Osborne, there is only one result here and the handicap bet -2.5 Whitlock with Ladbrokes looks massive @ 8/11. So that’s where our money is being directed.

Adrian Lewis v Denis Ovens

Much like the Whitlock v Osborne game, there is no value to be had on a Jackpot win, so once again we look at the handicap market, -3.5 @ 6/4 with William Hill being our selection.

Todays Bets

Painter to win @ 8/11 William Hill  25 pts &  most 180s Painter @ 10/11 15 pts

Webster win @ 8/13 Betfred 20 pts

van Barneveld – 2.5 handicap  @ 8/11 William Hill 20 pts

Rand  +1.5 handicap  @ 4/5 William Hill  15 pts & Newton most 180′ s @ 4/6 15 pts

Whitlock  -2.5 handicap @ 8/11 Ladbrokes 25 pts

Lewis -3.5 handicap @ 6/4 with William Hill 15 pts

The Daily Special

Today’s special is a double of Painter to win @ 8/11 and Whitlock -2.5 handicap @ 8/11 with Ladbrokes 25 pts
