TICKETS for the 2012 World Matchplay will go on sale on Monday January 30 to LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscribers and on General Sale on Monday February 6.

The 2012 World Matchplay will be held at Blackpool's Winter Gardens from July 21-29 and screened live on Sky Sports HD - featuring 32 top players competing for £400,000 in prize money.

The tournament, won 12 times by current champion Phil Taylor, has proven the summer's most popular event as fans flock to the famous Empress Ballroom inside the Winter Gardens complex.

LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscribers with a valid subscription at midnight on Wednesday January 25 2012 will be eligible to purchase tickets in the Priority Sales period, which begins at 9am on Monday January 30.

The remaining tickets will then go on General Sale from 9am on Monday February 6.

Tickets are limited to a maximum of eight per person per session.

Users wishing to book more than eight tickets in the Priority Sales period would need the requisite number of LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscriptions to purchase the tickets, and to make two separate transactions in the same telephone/in-person booking.

A Family Enclosure will be available on the Balcony Seating for fans wishing to bring under-18s, and tickets in this area should be requested at the time of booking.

Tickets can be purchased from the Winter Gardens Box Office in person from 9am on Monday January 30, and are also available via Ticketmaster on 0844 856 1111 or through www.blackpoollive.com.

Tickets purchased in person from the Winter Gardens Box Office are subject to a £1 booking fee for card transactions. Tickets purchased via Ticketmaster are subject to a booking fee of 10% of ticket price plus postage.

2012 Premier League Darts Tickets

TICKETS for the 2012 Premier League Darts will go on Priority Sale on Monday October 3, and on General Sale on Monday October 10.

The 2012 Premier League Darts will be played across 15 successive Thursdays from February-May 2012 as the tournament visits Britain & Ireland's top arenas.

Next year's event will begin in Manchester on Thursday February 9 as the eight players compete in the first of 14 nights where they will meet twice in the league phase.

Play will then head to the AECC in Aberdeen for night two and across the Irish Sea to Belfast for the third league night at the Odyssey Arena, before returning to England to be played at the Westpoint Arena in Exeter and The Brighton Centre on the first two Thursdays in March.

The Premier League Darts will visit Dublin for the first time on Thursday March 22 to be held at The O2 as the league phase reaches its halfway point.

The Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff will host the eighth league night, with Nottingham's Capital FM Arena, Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena and the BIC in Bournemouth hosting further league nights.

The Echo Arena, Liverpool, Birmingham's NIA and the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle will stage the remaining league nights, before the top four players head to The O2 in London on Thursday May 17 to contest the Play-Offs.

Tickets will go on Priority Sale from Monday October 3-Sunday October 9 to LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscribers, who have an active Annual Subscription at midnight on Thursday September 29 (Thursday night).

Any fans wishing to purchase tickets in the Priority Sales period must be a LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscriber (one payment per year) before midnight on Thursday night to be eligible.

The 2012 Premier League Darts will feature the top four players in the PDC Order of Merit following the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship plus four Wildcards, with the eight players competing over 14 weeks in the league phase before the top four progress to the Play-Offs.

Gary Anderson won this year's title with a victory over Adrian Lewis, while Phil Taylor and James Wade have also been crowned as champion since the Premier League Darts was introduced in 2005.

Tickets will cost £;35 each for floor table seats and £;20 for tiered seating, plus any booking fee. For The O2 Dublin, tickets are 40 Euros and 25 Euros plus booking fee.

Tickets are limited to six per person for floor table seats. A Family Enclosure is also available at all venues.

Tickets for all venues in the Priority Sales Period will be available via SeeTickets at this link, and customers must have an active Annual Subscription to the www.livepdc.tv website at midnight on Thursday September 29 to qualify for this offer.

The O2 London will have a Priority Sales period for O2 Customers from Wednesday October 5. Liverpool's Echo Arena will have a Priority Sales period from Saturday October 8 for previous bookers. The Grand Slam of Darts 2011 - Wolverhampton

THE Grand Slam of Darts brings together 32 stars of the sport to compete over nine days at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall.

The finalists from major tournaments qualify for the tournament, which will see darts' champion of champions crowned as Scott Waites defends the title.

Play initially sees the 32 players split into eight four-player groups for the round-robin stage, with the top two from each group progressing to the knockout stage.

Tickets will go on Priority Sale to fans with an Annual Subscription to LIVEPDC.tv on Monday July 25 and on General Sale on Monday August 1.

To be eligible to purchase tickets in this period, customers must have an active LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscription (either £;24.99 per year inside UK & Ireland or £;49.99 for International Pass) at midnight on Wednesday July 20.

2012 Ladbrokes PDC World Championships

THE schedule of play for the 2012 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship has been confirmed. This year's tournament will begin on Thursday December 15 at London's Alexandra Palace, with play in the £;1 million event being held across 15 days and 20 sessions in darts' biggest tournament. Screened live on Sky Sports, the First Round will be held across eight days from December 15-21. The Second Round, featuring the last 32 players, will be played either side of the Christmas break, with the Third Round taking place on December 28 and 29 and the Quarter-Finals held on Friday December 30.

Following a break for New Year's Eve, play will resume with the Semi-Finals on Sunday January 1, with the Final following on Monday January 2. Tickets for the tournament will go on Priority Sale on Monday June 27 to LIVEPDC.TV Annual Subscribers. To be eligible to purchase tickets in this period, users must have an active Annual Subscription at Midnight on Wednesday June 22.

2011 PDC World Matchplay

TICKETS for darts' biggest summer event, the 2011 World Matchplay, will go on sale during February.

The World Matchplay will be held from July 16-24 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, with 32 players competing for the £;100,000 first prize and the prestigious trophy, which was won by Phil Taylor for an 11th time last year.

The event will feature the top 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit - which currently includes World Champion Adrian Lewis, Blackpool's Ronnie Baxter and Fleetwood's Wes Newton - along with the 16 highest ranked non-qualified players from the Players Championship Order of Merit.

The nine-day event - screened live on Sky Sports HD - will begin on Saturday July 16 with the first of four successive evening sessions of first round action.

The second round will be played on Wednesday July 20 and Thursday July 21, with the quarter-finals split across two sessions on Friday July 22.

The semi-finals will be played on Saturday July 23, with the final being played on Sunday July 24.

Tickets will go on Priority Sale to PDCtv Annual Subscribers on Wednesday February 9, with users having an active Annual Subscription at midnight on Wednesday February 2 being eligible to purchase tickets in this period.

All remaining tickets will then go on general sale on Monday February 14.
